According to the Wall Street journal SABMiller PLC (SAB.JO) controls 98% of the Colombian beer market and the columbians have had enough of them trying to influence their politics.  They've raised the taxes on beer in an effor to fight back against the global beer conglmerate.

We don't like having to pay more for beer, but we applaud the Columbians for their taking a swipe at the big beer monsters controlling their world.

Lets hope the Beer Magnates don't fight back by undermining Columbia's ecomony.
